Up in the air and in the snow

Heute war es so schönes Wetter, dass Eric Merlin und mich auf einen Ausflug mitnahm. Wir fuhren ins Toggenburg, nach Alt. St. Johann, wo wir eine kleine Gondel bestiegen und in die Höhe schwebten. Oben auf der Alp Sellamatt hatte es wieder ganz viel Schnee - ein Traum für Merlin und ich. Von da aus sind wir nach Iltios gelaufen, wo Eric zu Mittag ass und Merlin und ich die Attraktion für klein und gross waren. Dann gings wieder zurück durch die Schneelandschaft und wieder runter mit der Gondel. Ein super Tag!

We had so beautiful weather today. Therefore Eric took Merlin and me along for another outing. We went to the Toggenburg Valley, to Alt St. Johann, where we boarded a small cable car gondola, that took us up to Alp Sellamatt. Up there it had tons of snow – a paradise for Merlin and me. We walked to Iltios, where Eric had his lunch and where Merlin and I were THE attraction. Afterwards we went back through the winter wonderland and took again the cable car to get down again to our car. A wonderful day!

IN the water

Merlin hat es mir schon ein paar Mal vorgemacht und auch gesagt, wie viel Spass es im Wasser macht, aber ich traute mich nicht recht. Bis jetzt! Nun habe ich mir auf jeden Fall einmal die Tatzen nass gemacht.

Merlin showed me and told me, how much fun being in the water would be, but I didn't dare yet. Until now. Today I took my first steps into the wonderful wet.

Trains, busses and tramways

Heute nahm mich Eric wieder einmal mit auf einen Ausflug mit Zug, Bus und Tram. Langsam gewöhne ich mich daran – jetzt will ich wieder einmal etwas Neues erleben ;-)

Today Eric took me along on a trip wit trains, busses and tramways. I think I got perfectly accustomed to it – now I hope I will get something new very soon ;-)

Heavy!

Ich lege zu: Beim Impfbesuch bei meiner lieben Tierärztin brachte es die Waage an den Tag. Ich bin schon 9 Kilogramm schwer.

I'm gaining: While I was getting my vaccination from my dear vet, the scale showed that my weight is already 9 kilograms.

Ariane & Andrina!

So schön: Ariane und Andrina waren wieder auf Besuch und haben uns auf dem Spaziergang begleitet. Das hat viel Spass gemacht.

Lovely: Ariane and Andrina were back for a visit and a walk. We had lots of fun.

Very tired

Heute war ich wieder in der Hundeschule, es machte grossen Spass. Jetzt bin ich einfach nur auf dem Hund und mag gar nicht mehr schreiben.

Today I was back at dog's school, it was fun. But now I'm so tired and therefore not able to write anything more right now.

Up to the mountains

Heute nahmen mich Merlin und Eric zum ersten Mal auf einen ihrer legendären Bergausflüge mit - Merlin hatte schon viel davon erzählt. Für mich war es das erste Mal in einer Luftseilbahn (hab gar nichts gemerkt) und das erste Mal in einer Zahnradbahn (total langweilig). Und ich stand zum ersten Mal auf so einem hohen Berg - auf der Rigi. Das war schon toll, vor allem wegen des Schnees. Und dann kamen ganz viele Leute (aus China, wie Eric sagte) und wollten Fotos von mir und Merlin. Es waren immer mehr und alle fanden mich "soooo cute". Dann gings weiter durch den Schnee und später gabs eine Pause bei heisser Schokolade und Zwetschgenwähe - was aber beides Eric bekam... Nach nochmaligem Schnee-Herumtollen nahmen wir die Gondel wieder zurück nach Weggis und fuhren nach Hause. Und jetzt bin ich hundemüde und schlafe.

Today Merlin and Eric took me along for the first time on one of their legendary mountain trips - Merlin already told me a lot about them. For me it was my first ride in a cable car (did not notice anything special) and in a rack-railway (very boring). And for the first time I was up on such a high mountain - on Mount Rigi. That was great, especially because of the snow. And then suddenly a lot of people came to us (they're from China, Eric said) and wanted pictures of Merlin and me. It almost did not stop anymore - but everybody said I was "soooo cute". Finally we went for our walk through the snow and had another break, where Eric got a hot chocolate and a piece of plum tart. We had another bash in the snow, before we took another cable car back down to Weggis. Now I'm dog-tired and already sleeping.

Visit

 

Zwei Wochen nachdem sie in Marbach waren, um mich abzuholen, waren Andrina und Ariane bei Eric, Merlin und mir heute zu Besuch zu einem Spaziergang. Das hat mir gefallen :-)

Two weeks after they picked me up in Marbach, Andrina und Ariane were visiting Eric, Merlin and me to join us for a walk. I liked that very much.

Mirror, mirror

Kaum war Eric aus dem Bike Shop zurück, schnappte er mich und brachte mich (wie soooo oft) runter, damit ich biseln kann – das habe ich dann auch getan. Im Lift sagte er nur was wie "Spieglein, Spieglein..." Was das nun wieder heisst?

As soon as Eric was back from the bike shop he fetched me and took me down to pee - like soooo often. In the elevator he whispered something like "Mirror, mirror"... but I have not idea what he meant with that.

Upgrade

Mein super Lance-Mobil beschert Eric Rückenschmerzen, sagt er. Er ist ja auch schon älter ;-) Darum war er nun in einem Bike Shop und die haben uns einen super tollen Lenker aufs Mobil drauf gemecht. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie es sich so fährt.

My super Lance vehicle causes back pain to Eric, he says. Well, he is already a bit older ;-) Therefore he was just in a bike shop to get us an extension. Now I'm curious how it will feel like.

A river - what's that?

Heute hat Merlin ganz was Merkwürdiges angestellt. Er rannte wie wild in dem Zeugs herum, das wir sonst trinken. Aber davon gabs hier so viel. Eric sagte, es sei ein Fluss und darin würde Merlin in der warmen Jahreszeit auch baden. Baden, was ist denn das wieder?

Today Merlin did something very strange. He was running around in that strange thing that we usually drink. But here there was such a lot of that. Eric said this was a river and that Merlin would be bathing into this river when it's warmer. Bathing, what's that?
