Up to the mountains

Heute nahmen mich Merlin und Eric zum ersten Mal auf einen ihrer legendären Bergausflüge mit - Merlin hatte schon viel davon erzählt. Für mich war es das erste Mal in einer Luftseilbahn (hab gar nichts gemerkt) und das erste Mal in einer Zahnradbahn (total langweilig). Und ich stand zum ersten Mal auf so einem hohen Berg - auf der Rigi. Das war schon toll, vor allem wegen des Schnees. Und dann kamen ganz viele Leute (aus China, wie Eric sagte) und wollten Fotos von mir und Merlin. Es waren immer mehr und alle fanden mich "soooo cute". Dann gings weiter durch den Schnee und später gabs eine Pause bei heisser Schokolade und Zwetschgenwähe - was aber beides Eric bekam... Nach nochmaligem Schnee-Herumtollen nahmen wir die Gondel wieder zurück nach Weggis und fuhren nach Hause. Und jetzt bin ich hundemüde und schlafe.

Today Merlin and Eric took me along for the first time on one of their legendary mountain trips - Merlin already told me a lot about them. For me it was my first ride in a cable car (did not notice anything special) and in a rack-railway (very boring). And for the first time I was up on such a high mountain - on Mount Rigi. That was great, especially because of the snow. And then suddenly a lot of people came to us (they're from China, Eric said) and wanted pictures of Merlin and me. It almost did not stop anymore - but everybody said I was "soooo cute". Finally we went for our walk through the snow and had another break, where Eric got a hot chocolate and a piece of plum tart. We had another bash in the snow, before we took another cable car back down to Weggis. Now I'm dog-tired and already sleeping.

Zwei Wochen nachdem sie in Marbach waren, um mich abzuholen, waren Andrina und Ariane bei Eric, Merlin und mir heute zu Besuch zu einem Spaziergang. Das hat mir gefallen :-)

Two weeks after they picked me up in Marbach, Andrina und Ariane were visiting Eric, Merlin and me to join us for a walk. I liked that very much.

Mirror, mirror

Kaum war Eric aus dem Bike Shop zurück, schnappte er mich und brachte mich (wie soooo oft) runter, damit ich biseln kann – das habe ich dann auch getan. Im Lift sagte er nur was wie "Spieglein, Spieglein..." Was das nun wieder heisst?

As soon as Eric was back from the bike shop he fetched me and took me down to pee - like soooo often. In the elevator he whispered something like "Mirror, mirror"... but I have not idea what he meant with that.

Upgrade

Mein super Lance-Mobil beschert Eric Rückenschmerzen, sagt er. Er ist ja auch schon älter ;-) Darum war er nun in einem Bike Shop und die haben uns einen super tollen Lenker aufs Mobil drauf gemecht. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie es sich so fährt.

My super Lance vehicle causes back pain to Eric, he says. Well, he is already a bit older ;-) Therefore he was just in a bike shop to get us an extension. Now I'm curious how it will feel like.

A river - what's that?

Heute hat Merlin ganz was Merkwürdiges angestellt. Er rannte wie wild in dem Zeugs herum, das wir sonst trinken. Aber davon gabs hier so viel. Eric sagte, es sei ein Fluss und darin würde Merlin in der warmen Jahreszeit auch baden. Baden, was ist denn das wieder?

Today Merlin did something very strange. He was running around in that strange thing that we usually drink. But here there was such a lot of that. Eric said this was a river and that Merlin would be bathing into this river when it's warmer. Bathing, what's that?

What's Merlin doing?
